Job description

A well-established Managed Service Provider in Glasgow are looking to add a talented IT Support Engineer to their team (hybrid). If you enjoy solving problems, speaking with customers, and want to work somewhere that genuinely invests in your development, this is one worth applying for.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a tight-knit support team within a tech company that’s growing quickly. You should expect real variety: troubleshooting Microsoft environments, working on networking and internet issues, supporting cloud and UC technologies.

You’ll take full ownership of tickets, work directly with customers, collaborate with third‑party providers, and head onsite when required. Once trained, you’ll also join a well‑structured on‑call rota with generous additional payments.

This role is based at the Glasgow HQ for a minimum of three days per week on‑site, with client visits depending on contracts. If you’re looking for a new challenge, responsibility and meaningful technical growth, this environment will give you exactly that.

You’ll ideally have:
  • Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or support role
  • Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
  • Knowledge of internet technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft‑based operating systems and end‑user troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with UC or Microsoft Teams Direct Routing (a bonus, not essential)
  • Good time management and confidence in triaging and resolving issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy, fast‑paced team
  • A valid driving licence (essential)
What’s on offer:
  • Competitive salary of £25,000 to £30,000
  • Quarterly bonus opportunities
  • Healthcare
  • Pension
  • 22 days holiday plus statutory public
  • Flexible shifts between 8am and 6pm
  • Funded certifications with exam leave
  • Onsite parking

If you’re keen to join a company that truly backs your growth, provides training, self‑development and internal progression, then this is a great opportunity.
