Overview

Within JCDecaux UK the role of IT Project Manager (ITPM) provides the company with the management of projects that are executed on behalf of the UK IT Business Projects. The role sits within the Business Transformation department, part of the Technology & Innovation division, and reports to the Senior IT Project Manager (SITPM).

The role supports all division projects and supports the Senior IT Project Manager (SITPM) in interactions with our Corporate IT or External Vendor Projects. Additionally, the ITPM works with the Technical Solutions department to coordinate any UK Technical Delivery.

What you’ll be doing

Project Management

• Effective project leadership and control for delivery of projects of different sizes and scopes, on time and within budget
• Financial management and reporting project related Cap‑Ex and Op‑Ex spend
• Ensure projects align and deliver on business needs and specified requirements
• The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams
• Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling of complex projects

Business Analysis

• Capability to produce detailed service and functional specifications that can be used both to work out fit models for services transferring into SAP modules
• Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and, evaluating output requirements and formats
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one‑time operational issues

Stakeholder Management

• Build relationships with key business users to ensure delivery of business requirements
• Manage regular meetings with the business stakeholders to review progress; manage defects and prioritise requirements on the backlog
• Communicate with project stakeholders at all levels and strengthen relationships with the business
• Communicate issues and risks at both project and business unit level

Quality Management

• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by examining all outcomes of processes and implementing improvements regardless of the outcome’s nature.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure adherence to SOPs across departments, ensuring they are auditable, and that any non‑adherence identified during audits is addressed with timely corrective actions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to IT and data management.
