Job description

Job Title: IT Programme Manager

Location: Preston/Frimley. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £75,000 dependent on experience

Responsibilities
  • Leadership of an IT Agile programme delivering products, projects and services across BAE Systems
  • Lead, motivate and support all team members through all that they do, ensuring the well-being on an individual basis as well as the collective whole
  • Support the scrum masters and project managers to deliver their squad and project objectives and enable success / operational excellence by removing blockers
  • Drive delivery and proactive management of squads and projects within the, largely, Agile programme against the prioritised backlog
  • The point of contact for any squad and project issues, supporting resolution with customers and partners in a collaborative way
  • Deliver succinct reporting across the programme in a timely manner, with focus on squad and project performance reporting to senior leadership
Qualifications
  • Experience of project and programme management delivery in complex, challenging environments to both national and International Customers
  • Recognised project management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Competent team leadership experience
  • Management of supplier and partner performance
  • Agile delivery experience at a Programme level
  • SAFe delivery experience
  • M365 delivery experience
