Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide desktop IT support across office, manufacturing, and logistics functions. You will install and configure hardware for new hires, manage PC lifecycle, and assist with identity and access management tasks.

You will apply your knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 to resolve issues, support basic networking, and communicate effectively with non-technical users. A focus on security, project work, and user satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a desktop IT support role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, Wireless).
• Able to explain technical material to non-technical users.
• Capable of building trust with clients and handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to office, manufacturing, and logistics teams.
• Install hardware and deploy equipment for new hires.
• Manage PC lifecycle: replacements and retirements.
• Handle Identity and Access Management tasks (provisioning, access checks).
• Resolve end-user issues via Service Desk queues.
• Support IT security compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Communicate updates to users and support enterprise projects.
