Job summary

Johnson Controls in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Support Specialist to keep our office, manufacturing, and logistics teams operating smoothly.

You will install hardware, deploy equipment for new hires, manage the PC lifecycle, and handle identity and access, ServiceNow tickets, and security tasks.

The role requires strong Windows OS and Office 365 knowledge, good communication, and readiness for special projects within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a desktop IT support role.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Office 365 apps (Outlook/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive).
• Basic networking concepts (IP/DNS/DHCP, Wireless).
• Clear communication of technical information to non-technical users.
• Willingness to engage in special projects for growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop IT support to colleagues across office, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Install hardware and deploy equipment for new hires.
• Perform PC lifecycle management and retirements.
• Handle Identity and Access Management requests.
• Manage UK Deskside Service Now ticket queues.
• Support local IT security compliance tasks.
• Prioritize and communicate security vulnerability incidents.
• Proactively update users with status reports.
• Support enterprise projects and initiatives.
