Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist colleagues across the office, manufacturing, and logistics teams. You will resolve hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and support secure IT operations.

You will work in a hybrid UK environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to Identity and Access Management, system deployment, and end-user training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a desktop IT support role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 (Outlook/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, Wi-Fi).
• Able to explain technical material to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop IT support to colleagues across office, manufacturing and logistics.
• Install hardware and support equipment for new hires.
• Manage PC lifecycle: refurbish, retire, and redeploy devices.
• Handle Identity and Access Management requests and ticket queues.
• Support IT security compliance and vulnerability remediation.
• Communicate proactively with users and stakeholders.
• Support enterprise projects and IT initiatives.
