Job summary

Aberdein Considine is offering an IT Helpdesk Analyst apprenticeship in Aberdeen. You will deliver high-quality 1st line support, diagnose and resolve issues, and work closely with IT teams to ensure reliable systems. The program includes coaching, a mentor, and a SCQF Level 8 qualification upon completion.

Working hours are 8:45am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with pension, private medical and 35 days holiday as benefits. Flexible working options are provided to support training and development.

Qualifications

• Entry-level IT apprenticeship with QA focus.
• Nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8 on completion.
• Employer-supported QA skills coaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective 1st line technical support by diagnosing, resolving and escalating issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting and enhancing key systems or applications.
• Maintain and improve existing systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Install, configure, develop and support IT assets to enable users in their roles.
• Collaborate with IT teams to maintain service delivery standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for processes and changes.
