Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP team in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for customers, visit sites when needed to troubleshoot and perform maintenance, and manage incidents through the Service Desk.

Applicants should have at least 5 years in a related role, with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security configurations, Office 365 Cloud expertise, and strong networking knowledge. On-site work with a dedicated, customer-focused approach is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar IT support/engineering role.
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Experience with Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) (mandatory).
• Intune, RMM and telephone platform experience.
• Network infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs).
• Strong customer support and written/verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve problems; perform scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority issues to Management.
• Review priorities and take action to achieve results.
• Monitor site integrity and reporting to meet business requirements.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
