Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an IT Engineer for an established international MSP. You will be the first point of contact for customers, attend on-site visits, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents using a Service Desk Tool.

The role requires at least 5 years' experience, hands-on with Cyber Essentials, GDPR, Office 365, Intune, Azure, Windows/mac, and solid customer communication. A competitive salary and 40 days holiday are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT role
• Experience configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards
• Experience with Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
• Experience with Intune, RMM and telephone platforms
• Experience with network infrastructure (Routers, Switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VLANs)
• Ability to support and collaborate with service providers
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Group Policies
• Azure administration and implementations
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Mac
• Imaging client builds
• Strong customer support and communication
• Ability to problem-solve independently

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take the necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
