Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our UK-based MSP. You will be the first point of contact for customers, attend sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance, and manage incidents through the Service Desk Tool.

You will work on Cyber Essentials, GDPR security, Office 365, Intune and RMM, plus networking infrastructure and cross-site support. Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills are essential as you deliver high-quality service on-site and remotely as

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT role.
• Configuring Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) experience.
• Intune, RMM and telephone platform experience.
• Network infrastructure maintenance across routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs.
• Proactive collaboration with service providers.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration.
• Azure administration and implementations.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac knowledge.
• Strong customer support and communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests via the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases per SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor site status, usage, and reporting while meeting business requirements.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
