Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our MSP team in the United Kingdom. You will be the frontline contact for customers, troubleshoot on-site, and manage incidents through our service desk while ensuring SLA commitments are met.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar IT support role, plus expertise in Cyber Essentials, GDPR security standards, Office 365, Intune, and Azure. On-site deployments and strong customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT support/engineer role.
• Configuring and implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards (mandatory).
• Experience with Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) (mandatory).
• Experience with Intune, RMM and telephone platform.
• Network infrastructure maintenance including routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, VLANs.
• Strong customer support and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites as required to troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues, and carry out scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incoming incidents and requests through the Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on their cases in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and take the necessary action to achieve results.
• Monitor the integrity and status of customer sites, including usage, revisions, views and reporting, while ensuring customer business requirements are maintained to the highest standard.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents both on-site and off-site.
