Job summary

Emplyfy, a UK-based MSP, is seeking an IT Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-energy team. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, visit sites to troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents through the service desk.

The role requires Microsoft 365 expertise, Intune and RMM experience, and strong networking knowledge. Five years in a similar role is expected, with mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security experience, plus Windows Server and Azure knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar IT support/engineer role.
• Configuring and implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards required.
• Office 365 Cloud (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) experience required.
• Intune, RMM and telephone platform experience expected.
• Network infrastructure maintenance and installations (Routers, Switches, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls).
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 knowledge including Group Policies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers.
• Attend customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve problems, and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Manage incidents and requests via Service Desk Tool.
• Keep customers updated on cases per SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority matters to Management when required.
• Review daily priorities and act to achieve results.
• Monitor site status, usage, revisions and reporting to meet business needs.
• Install, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Document processes and record tickets for outstanding work.
• Manage high-priority incidents on-site and off-site.
