Investment Analyst – Job Description
The Role
We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Investment Management team. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support the performance of investment vehicles. The Analyst will also play a key role in supporting the Asset Management team in developing and implementing strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to drive performance and deliver value-adding insights across the portfolio.
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Working with the various local asset management teams to assist in the development and execution of asset and portfolio management strategies.
- Respond to ad hoc queries on asset and portfolio performance from stakeholders including investors, lenders, and the board.
- Manage and maintain data integrity across in-house database systems and reporting platforms.
- Support planning and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment across finance, asset management, and other business functions.
- Develop a clear understanding of all drivers of Net Operating Income (NOI) from both an Asset Management and Financial Reporting perspective and effectively communicate business performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field (CFA/CA/ACA qualification desirable).
- 1–3 years’ experience in investment management, real estate, corporate finance, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
