A regional law enforcement agency in the East Midlands is seeking an Investigator for their Assessment and Investigation Unit. This office-based position involves managing initial crime reports, assessing threats, and safeguarding victims. Ideal candidates will have a natural curiosity and a desire to help protect the public. Opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles are available, with a rotational shift pattern. As an Investigator for the Assessment and Investigation Unit, you will be making a real difference to people’s lives, helping them at their most vulnerable.

You will be managing a wide variety of initial reports of crime via various means of contact, including phone, online and video consultations.
You’ll be identifying and recording disclosed criminal offences, assessing threat, risk, and harm to ensure victims are safeguarded. This early intervention will help to increase public confidence through the early resolution of crime and incidents.
This is an office-based role working Monday – Sunday between 07:00 – 22:00, on a rotational shift pattern, which will include a shift pattern allowance. We have full-time opportunities available along with part-time roles within a job share agreement.
