Job summary

A leading business in sales coordination is seeking an Inventory & Commercial Sales Coordinator to manage sales and order processing during a 12-month maternity cover. This role involves maintaining stock lists, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have experience in sales administration and strong Excel skills. The position offers hybrid working and competitive salary based on experience.

Benefits

Hybrid working (1-2 days per week after probation)
22 days’ holiday + bank holidays
£30,000+ salary, dependent on experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales administration, order processing, or customer support.
  • Experience in aerospace, engineering, or a similar technical environment is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (spreadsheets, formulas).

Responsibilities

  • Download, update, and maintain weekly stock lists.
  • Process all inbound enquiries and quotation requests.
  • Manage shared inboxes and prioritise communications efficiently.
  • Handle direct sales enquiries and order outlines.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare, update, and follow up on customer quotations.
  • Review older quotes and provide refreshed pricing.
  • Provide excellent customer support and order updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support sales operations.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and promote products.
  • Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and efficiency.
  • Manage inbound phone calls with professionalism.
