Job summary

MCS Group is recruiting an Internal Sales Account Manager to join a fourth-generation manufacturing business. You will work closely with the Commercial Director and External Account Manager, managing a busy portfolio of customers from enquiry through to delivery in a fast-moving environment.

You will handle day-to-day customer contacts, process high volumes of orders, onboard new customers and liaise with production and commercial teams to ensure orders are fulfilled.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, account management, customer service or order management.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging or a similar environment is preferred.
• Strong systems experience and ability to manage multiple customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acting as day-to-day contact for customers
• Processing and managing a high volume of customer orders
• Onboarding new customers
• Liaising with technical, production and commercial teams to fulfil orders
• Supporting External Account Managers with customer portfolios
• Taking ownership of a portfolio of smaller accounts
• Identifying opportunities to add value and develop customer relationships
