Job summary

ER Recruitment is supporting a well-established manufacturer in the Blackburn area to recruit an Internal Account Manager. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships by phone and email, preparing quotations, processing orders, and guiding customers through the order journey to ensure an excellent service experience.

You will be part of a young, collaborative team with potential progression into external field sales and a modern working environment with a social culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in window, door or glazing industry is essential.
• Confident communicating with customers over the telephone.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with customers by telephone and email.
• Prepare quotations and follow them through to order conversion.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with customers throughout the order journey, providing updates and resolving queries.
• Handle incoming enquiries professionally and confidently.
• Support customers with product knowledge and technical information.
• Work closely with the wider commercial and operations teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Monitor weekly order intake against agreed KPIs.
