Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in agriculture is seeking an experienced Interim Sustainability Manager for a key role in Wiltshire. This position focuses on implementing sustainability strategies in poultry and egg production, managing environmental compliance, and engaging with teams to achieve sustainability targets. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and proven experience in sustainability management. This role offers a day rate of £450–£500 with a flexible working model for the remaining days.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sustainability or environmental management within poultry, egg production, or food production.
  • Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, ESG frameworks, and environmental compliance.
  • Available for an interim contract and able to work 3 days per week on site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of sustainability and environmental strategy across poultry and egg production systems.
  • Manage and monitor progress against sustainability KPIs, including carbon reduction and waste management.
  • Oversee completion of carbon footprinting, life cycle assessments (LCA), and ESG reporting.
