A leading housing provider in London seeks a Repairs Officer to deliver a high-quality repairs management service. In this role, you will be responsible for managing repair requests, providing support to residents, and working closely with contractors. The ideal candidate has experience in repairs or construction, strong IT skills, and excellent communication abilities. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of £17 to £21 and the potential for a hybrid working model after 6 months.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, raise, and track repair requests from residents.
  • Provide accurate responses to repairs and maintenance enquiries.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Liaise with surveyors, contractors, and housing colleagues on repairs and voids.
  • Ensure all necessary certificates and documentation are in place before re-letting properties.
  • Respond to resident complaints and enquiries, aiming for first-contact resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and practices.
Profile
  • A successful Interim Repairs Officer should have:
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in repairs, building, or construction.
