Interim Marketing Director / CRM Lead

A fast-growing, entrepreneurial consumer-brand business is looking for an experienced Interim Marketing Director or CRM Specialist to help take their marketing engine and customer lifecycle performance to the next level.

The business has scaled rapidly over recent years and continues to expand through new sites, strategic partnerships and international opportunity. With a highly engaged customer base and strong media presence, there is huge potential to unlock further growth through smarter CRM, data-driven marketing and joined-up customer journeys.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a hands‑on interim leader who loves stepping into an ambitious scale‑up and bringing clarity, structure and measurable impact.

Key Priorities:

You will work closely with the senior team to:

Strengthen CRM and marketing automation (using Go High Level)
  • optimize pipelines, segmentation and lifecycle journeys
  • improve reporting, attribution and insight
  • ensure data supports sales performance
Drive digital and performance improvement
  • review paid and organic activity
  • ensure spend is accountable and ROI-driven
  • partner constructively with agencies & suppliers
Bring structure and calm leadership to the team
  • support and develop existing team capability
  • create clear processes and rhythm
  • embed better cross‑functional working
Shape a joined‑up marketing strategy
  • translate brand strength into revenue
  • support UK expansion and emerging European activity

This role suits someone equally comfortable in the detail of CRM and the board‑level conversation; a do‑er AND a thinker.

About You:

You’re likely to be:

  • An experienced Marketing Director, Head of Marketing or CRM leader
  • An expert in CRM and lifecycle marketing, with experience of Go High Level particularly valuable
  • Strong on customer lifecycle, automation and data‑led decision‑making
  • Commercial, pragmatic and structured in your approach
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial SME / scale‑up setting
  • A positive influencer who builds trust (internally & with suppliers)
  • Calm, emotionally intelligent and collaborative
  • Available for an interim assignment (3 days/week preferred)

Experience in automotive, specialist retail or e‑commerce is helpful but not essential — mindset matters more.

The Assignment:
  • Interim day‑rate contract
  • 3 months initially
  • Immediate start preferred
  • Ability to commute to South Yorkshire
