Overview

Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, bridging management and employee relations, maintaining recruitment and selection processes, and overseeing staff training compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters and contracts, conducting right‑to‑work checks, background screening, and assisting with new employee inductions.
  • Employee Records & Documentation: maintaining and updating HR databases, personnel files, absence records, and ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: supporting payroll processing, assisting with employee pensions and healthcare, and handling expense reports.
  • HR Policies & Compliance: ensuring policies align with UK employment laws, assisting with disciplinary and grievance procedures, and staying current with legislative changes.
  • Training & Development: coordinating staff training sessions, maintaining training records, and supporting employee development programmes.
  • General HR Support: acting as the first point of contact for HR queries, supporting projects and initiatives, and assisting with performance management processes.
Skills Required

Experience (Essential)
