Insurance Team Manager

Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm
Hybrid after 6 months (up to 2 days home)
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000
Location: Malton, North Yorkshire

Are you an experienced insurance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service? We are looking for an InsuranceTeam Manager to support the Head in lead a high performing team of Client Advisors.

This role plays a key part in shaping the commercial success, compliance standards and culture of the Team, ensuring clients receive high-quality advice aligned to FCA and company regulations.

The Role

As Care Team Manager, you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of the commercial strategy for the Team.
  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Client Advisors, ensuring clear communication, strong performance and a positive team culture.
  • Drive improvements in systems, processes and client journey to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Develop the team’s technical knowledge, training plans and individual career development.
  • Contribute to recruitment and ensure new starters receive effective, compliant inductions.
  • Oversee workload distribution, performance and adherence to FCA regulation through supervision, file checks and compliance monitoring.
  • Ensure timely management of new and existing business, renewals, MTAs and insurer negotiations.
  • Support the Head with departmental objectives, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Handle complaints and HR matters (such as absence, performance and conduct) in line with company policy.
  • Promote and embed company values, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
About You

  • Cert CII qualification (or equivalent experience).
