A specialized engineering firm in the UK is seeking an Installation & Maintenance Engineer to install and maintain industrial doors. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of £38,000 plus benefits including a company vehicle, overtime pay, and training opportunities. The ideal candidate has a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with the ability to diagnose and fix faults. You will work primarily in South Wales, traveling to various customer sites as required. This position allows for skill development in a growing organization.

This well-established organisation installs and services perimeter security and industrial doors throughout the UK. They are currently in a period of growth and now require an Installation and Maintenance Engineer to work on various clients sites. Although previous door experience would be advantageous it is not essential as cross training can be provided.
This is a full time permanent position installing, fault finding and repairing Industrial garage doors for the companies ever growing client base. You could be based out of either Port Talbot or Carmarthen offices and will travel to customers sites on a daily basis. Occasional overnight trips will be required for clients further than 11/2 hours from work. You will work a 40 hour week with overtime often on offer and call out on a roster basis. There are no shifts or standard weekend requirements. The work involves both electrical and mechanical duties but with a definite electrical bias.
Although experience in doors or perimeter security would be an advantage applications are welcome from electrically biased maintenance engineers from manufacturing or other work sectors. Cross training to industrial doors can be provided.
