Job summary

A technology services provider is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer for the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Project in Somerset. This role involves installation and configuration of electrical and telecommunications equipment, requiring a full UK driving licence. You will work collaboratively with colleagues on-site and ensure the quality of installations. This position is field-based and will initially be based out of Dunball facility. A full-time permanent position with a commercial van supplied.

Job Title: Installation & Commissioning Engineer, Location: HPC Somerset / Bridgwater, South West England (Field-based), Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Additional Information: Commercial van supplied

Telent is looking for an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our Network Services division. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply and develop your installation skills across electrical and telecommunications equipment as part of the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear Project in Somerset.

The role will initially be based out of our Dunball (Bridgwater) test facility, and will eventually be field-based requiring travel to and from site, as well as our Dunball facility. A full UK driving licence is essential.

• Report to the Installation Manager and support the successful witnessing of project installations
• Install and configure equipment under monitored conditions
• Collaborate on-site with colleagues and third parties during the installation and commissioning of systems and networks
