Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm | Hybrid working available – 2 days from home, 3 days in office near East Croydon Station.

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Role Purpose

Support the Insight team with administration and data tasks which support the democratization of Insights across the business.

A typical week in this role includes

• Supporting the democratization of Insights across the business through the maintenance and upkeep of our internal knowledge platform.
• Helping to democratize Insights out to the rest of the business through tools such as PowerBI and the updating of data extracts.
• Using SQL to extract meaningful information from our sales and customer databases to help support business decisions.
• Working on initiatives to ensure the insight team can produce accurate and insight.
• Working on developing story-telling to translate our insights and insight tools for the business.
• Combining multiple data and research sources into actionable insights for the Superdrug business and presenting back to decision makers to ensure understanding and appropriate action is taken.
• Supporting with administrative tasks related to the commercialisation of data and insights.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Insight team to help support the development of future tools and capabilities being developed.

Stakeholders include

• Internal – Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, E-Commerce, Store Teams, Commercial Finance
• External – Suppliers (Multinational FMCG companies) and Research and Data Agencies

What you’ll need

• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)

• Microsoft Excel experience
• A full level 3 qualification and 5 GCSE’s including maths and English

Desirable

• Retail or customer service experience (office or shop floor based)
• SQL and/or python experience
• PowerBI or other data visualisation tool experience
