Job summary

Ionix Advanced Technologies Ltd seeks an Internal Sales Executive to support the Commercial team by qualifying, following up and progressing inbound enquiries and opportunities. You will triage inquiries, conduct initial qualification calls and coordinate proposals while maintaining CRM records and timelines.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and commercial awareness to convert activity into qualified opportunities, with product and sales training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, sales support, customer service, business development, account coordination or commercial administration.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professional engagement with customers and partners.
• Confident telephone manner for initial qualification calls.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining CRM records and actions.
• Commercial awareness and interest in developing sales opportunities.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into internal actions for Sales/Engineering/BD teams.
• Resilience, proactive follow-up and problem solving in a small, fast-moving team.
• Willingness to learn across sales, marketing, customer support and technical products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage and respond to inbound sales and monitoring enquiries, ensuring timely progress.
• Conduct initial qualification calls to understand requirements, timelines and budget.
• Research target accounts and prepare background information for engagement.
• Follow up on marketing campaigns and partner-generated opportunities to create qualified opportunities.
• Book and prepare sales meetings with agendas and line up technical/commercial colleagues.
• Coordinate proposals, quotations and supporting documents with involved teams.
• Maintain next steps, owners and timelines for each enquiry and opportunity.
• Keep CRM records up-to-date with customer info, status and dates.
• Support pipeline tracking, forecast updates and weekly reviews.
• Assist with exhibitions, conferences and campaigns and post-event follow-ups.
• Provide responsive support to customers, partners and internal teams.
