Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Stoke-on-Trent

Join Telent's Engineering Team as an Infrastructure Support Engineer and contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure. This role involves providing administrative support to the NOC (Network Operations Centre) engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures, and working on a 24/7 shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests and allocate/despatch tickets to support teams and service providers.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Coordinate traffic management activities with relevant providers and teams.
6. Communicate incident updates to customers.
7. Collaborate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
