Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Stockport

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions that make a real impact. Work alongside technical experts committed to maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and protection 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills for liaising at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
