Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience Required), Liverpool

This role is with Telent, located in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The position requires EU work permit eligibility and involves supporting the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team.

Job Description:

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions that impact critical national infrastructure. As a NOC Technician, you will provide administrative support, ensure incident resolution, and work within a 24/7 shift rota to maintain network connectivity and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create and manage network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Execute Service Requests and coordinate with technical teams and service providers.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Organize traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
6. Communicate incident updates to customers.
7. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably within a NOC environment. Skills in 1st line diagnostics, incident resolution, and good communication are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
