Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in accordance with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering groups, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
