Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  • Update customers on network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who you are:

You will have previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
