Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who You Are:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with individuals at all levels.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
