Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers and regional teams.
• Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
