Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Working

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Become part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring all incidents are resolved following established procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
• Process Service Requests.
• Assign tickets to technical support, field engineering teams, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, regional control, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills, capable of liaising at all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
