Infrastructure Support Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Bournemouth

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions that impact critical national infrastructure. We are looking for a dedicated NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician to provide administrative support to our engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create incident tickets based on customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to technical support, field engineers, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
