A national policing agency in Birmingham is seeking an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to support its IT operations. The role involves managing infrastructure platforms, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with security procedures. Ideal candidates will have experience in platform infrastructure or cloud support. The position offers flexible shift patterns and participation in an on-call rota.
Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) relies on a wide range of technologies. As an Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you will support the Infrastructure services that underpin CTP operations to keep the country safe.
You will join a team of Infrastructure Operations Engineers, located east of Birmingham, with easy access to the M6 and M42. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist in working within a world class Platform Services Team, providing technical support for the network, from 7am to 7pm on weekdays. Compressed shift patterns are available allowing a 4-day working week. You’ll also join an on-call rota, providing critical support, 24/7/365.
