Job summary

A global financial institution seeks an experienced Inflation & Rates Trader in Greater London. The role requires a strong quantitative background and significant experience in trading rates and inflation products. You'll manage significant risks and leverage quantitative expertise to enhance pricing and risk management. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has programming skills in Python or VBA. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time position with a focus on active risk-taking and relative value opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience trading rates and inflation products at a bank, HF or AM.
  • Proven ability to run risk and P&L within defined limits.
  • Experience with cross-asset trading (energy, FX, macro rates environment).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills applied to discretionary trading decisions.
  • Spanish will be a nice-to-have.

Previous Experience and Background
  • Strong academic background in quantitative finance, mathematics, physics, engineering or economics.
  • Significant experience trading rates and inflation products at a bank, HF or AM.

  • Experience with cross‑asset trading (energy FX macro rates environment).
Technical Knowledge
