A leading healthcare organization in Scotland is seeking a qualified Infant Feeding Advisor to join its team at Borders General Hospital. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supporting mothers and babies with infant feeding.
• Experience of UNICEF UK BFI audit is desirable.
• Appropriate qualification in staff education (Train the trainer course) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join the Infant Feeding Team to support breastfeeding within maternity wards.
• Provide follow-up support in community clinics and home visits.
• Work towards improving breastfeeding attrition rates.
