This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading industrial automation equipment suppliers as a Business Development Consultant (BDC) covering the North East Region. The successful candidate will be required to live in or around Newcastle. This is a work-from-home role, and candidates must demonstrate growth in previous business development or sales roles. Knowledge and experience of supply chain specialists, automation solutions incorporating pneumatic assemblies and components, and electrical drives are essential.
The role involves managing a mix of official partners with a primary focus on driving end-user and regional OEM business. Candidates should have a vocational qualification in business or engineering, and an engineering HNC/Degree or higher. Previous external sales experience in industrial sales is required. Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor would be advantageous.
National overnight stays will be required as needed.
