Location: 1 day onsite at our Durrington office (Thursdays) and then WFH for rest of week

Contract Type: 12 months FTC (with the view to extend)

Hours: 25 hours per week, Part time

Salary: £26,721 pro rata to 25 hours a week

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Data Protection Team for a part time role (25 hours per week). This role is central to supporting the fulfilment and case management of Data Subject Rights (DSRs), third-party requests, and complaints relating to data protection. You will work across the company, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to collate information and ensure compliance with data protection obligations.

Responsibilities
  • Support Data Subject Access Requests
  • Assist with evidence gathering, review draft responses, redact sensitive information, and liaise directly with customers to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment.
  • Mailbox Management
  • Organise and maintain the team’s mailbox, respond to routine queries, file correspondence, and distribute emails to relevant team members.
  • Maintain Records and Documentation
  • Keep data protection logs and registers up to date (DSAR tracker, breach log, DPIA register), ensuring accuracy and accessibility for audits.
  • Coordinate Team Communications and Meetings
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and support internal communications.
  • General Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Data Protection Officer (DPO), including document preparation, data entry, and ad hoc tasks.
Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Experience in a Customer Service environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Background in customer contact functions (multi-channel inbound / outbound).
  • Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate.
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments.
  • Essential: 5 GCSEs grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths & English.

Package

This role will be part time ideally across Monday to Friday 9:30-14:30 with a hybrid approach at our Durrington office on Thursdays, with rest of hours completed WFH. We can consider candidates working 3 or 4 days a week and longer days. We are offering a salary of up to £26,721 per annum pro rata to 25 hours, as well as other benefits including:
