Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking an onsite Independent Prescriber – Clinical Pharmacist. This role involves conducting virtual medication reviews, answering clinical queries, and managing complex medication issues. Candidates must have a Pharmacy degree, GPhC registration, and experience supervising junior pharmacists. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential. This position is part-time, working 22.5 hours over 3 days per week, providing significant contributions to patient care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising junior pharmacists and/or technicians.
• Experience with chronic asthma or COPD reviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual medication reviews for repeat prescriptions.
• Answer clinical queries from healthcare professionals.
• Review hospital discharge letters and manage medication reconciliation.
