Overview

Role: Independent Nurse Prescriber

Division: Primary Care

Location: London client site

Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours

Contract: Permanent

Salary: From £49,181 - £57,377 depending on experience

Please note this role is based onsite, on a HCA UK Corporate Client premises.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality nursing care as an Independent Nurse Prescriber, taking responsibility for complete patient care and working with GPs and nursing colleagues as part of the client’s healthcare team.
  • Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, integrating drug- and non-drug-based treatment methods into a management plan.
  • Provide advice on overseas travel and vaccinations.
  • Carry out influenza inoculation programmes at practice and client sites.
  • Coordinate and participate in health promotion days.
  • Undertake vision screening for clients on site and at client premises.
  • Maintain accurate confidential health records in line with policy and procedures.
What you'll bring / Qualifications
  • RGN, NMC registered with PIN.
  • Completion of Independent Prescribing Course is essential.
  • Advanced Nursing Master’s degree desirable.
  • Relevant experience dealing with minor injuries, ear irrigation, cervical screening, travel health and venepuncture.
  • Ability to demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills at an advanced level.
  • Experience maintaining accurate medical records, electronic or hard copy, in accordance with policy and procedures.
