We’re looking for an Independent Living Technical Assistant to join our dynamic and growing Independent Living Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a service that makes a real difference in the lives of our tenants.

Role Overview

As Technical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling telephone enquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Booking appointments for our Handyperson Service and Sheltered Housing facilities
  • Assisting the Service Coordinator with report preparation, service charge reviews, audits, and KPI tracking
  • Supporting tenant engagement events and activities
  • Providing general administrative support across the team
Requirements

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Proactive and able to think on their feet
  • Confident with a friendly telephone manner
  • Skilled in both literacy and numeracy
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate or advanced level)

Essential Requirements

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths – Grade C/4 or above
  • Demonstrable training or certification in Microsoft Excel
  • Evidence of continued professional development in administrative or housing-related roles
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment
