A local educational institution in Salford is seeking an Inclusion Support Assistant to provide flexible support for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). In this role, you will aid academic progress and personal development, working closely with classroom tutors and fostering a positive learning environment. To provide high-quality, flexible and learner-centred support that enables learners with SEND to achieve, belong and thrive in our college environment. You will support learners with diverse needs in and out of the classroom with their academic progress, personal development, well-being, inclusion and safeguarding. You will join a team of dedicated Inclusion Support Assistants in the Inclusive Learning department, supporting students with moderate learning difficulties and disabilities to work towards Skills for Life qualifications. You will be based at Eccles Sixth Form College but may work across our college sites, and off site, to support learners to attend community and work placement opportunities. You will work closely with classroom tutors to break down barriers and ensure that learners are able to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. We are looking for a passionate and innovative individual who understands the challenges that young people with SEND may face in their learning.
