Job summary

Sainsbury's is looking for a friendly Service Assistant to support customers across checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks at our store in the UK. You’ll assist with questions, help with Click & Collect and on-demand grocery orders, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

You’ll build product knowledge, handle refunds or complaints, and work flexibly across the store. A strong customer focus and willingness to learn digital tools will help you thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Frontline customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
• Comfortable with using basic digital tools and store tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks, or petrol stations and answer questions.
• Help customers with Click & Collect and on-demand grocery orders.
• Build product knowledge to provide recommendations and guidance.
• Handle complaints, refunds, and shelf ticketing tasks with care.
• Move trolleys in car parks and support store operations across shifts.
