Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Services Assistant to help customers on our checkouts, self-service tills, and kiosks, and even at our petrol stations. You’ll offer proactive help and friendly support to create a great shopping experience.

You will build knowledge of products, services and promotions to make recommendations, handle queries and refunds, and work flexibly across the store while learning new digital tools.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: You must be above the school-leaver age in your country.
• If shifts include hours before 6am or after 11pm, you must be at least 18.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Serving and supporting customers on checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks and petrol stations.
• Picking and selecting quality products for customers and assisting with Click & Collect parcels.
• Building product knowledge and offering recommendations.
• Dealing with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising.
• Moving trolleys safely in car parks and working flexibly across the store.
• Learning new digital tools and technologies to perform duties effectively.
