Job summary

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Services Assistant to join Sainsbury’s stores in the United Kingdom. You’ll help customers at checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks and petrol stations while providing proactive support and product recommendations.

The role involves fast-paced, physical work in a team environment, with training on digital tools and a strong emphasis on delivering a high-quality shopping experience to customers.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Willing to learn digital tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks, and petrol stations.
• Assist customers with questions and proactively offering help.
• Pick quality products on the shop floor for customers using On-demand grocery ordering and Click & Collect.
• Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Deal with complaints, refunds, shelf tickets and advertising.
• Safely moving and retrieving trolleys in customer car parks.
• Work flexibly across the store as needed.
