Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Services Assistant to join our busy store in the community. You'll be on hand at checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks, or petrol stations, helping customers and answering questions.

You’ll build knowledge about products and promotions to offer recommendations, assist with Click & Collect, refunds, and keep aisles tidy, while moving trolleys safely and working flexibly across the store as needed.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn across store duties and use new digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve and support customers at checkouts, self-service tills, kiosks, or petrol stations.
• Select and recommend quality products; assist with Click & Collect parcels.
• Learn store promotions to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Handle complaints and refunds, maintain shelf labels, and assist with in-store advertising.
• Move trolleys safely in car parks and work flexibly across store operations.
