Job summary

SENse Learning is hiring SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher, across KS1–KS5 as appropriate. The position supports in-person, hybrid, and remote tutoring, with rolling interviews and ongoing recruitment.

We seek passionate educators with QTS/QTLS and experience in trauma-informed, holistic teaching. DBS enhanced clearance and references are required. UK-based applicants only.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
• Understanding of trauma-informed approaches to learning.
• Ability to be child-centered and creative in curriculum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan lessons, adapt materials, and report on student progress.
