Job summary

SENse Learning is hiring SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students with SEND and SEMH needs, across in-person, online, and hybrid formats. You will work with pupils from KS1 to KS5, tailoring sessions to EHCP plans, risk assessments, and trauma-informed approaches.

We welcome candidates with QTS/QTLS and a minimum of 2 years post-NQT teaching experience in SEND settings, based in the UK with safeguarding commitments. Flexible hours and supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Approach: Child-centered, holistic teaching with creativity to tailor curriculum.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: Based in the UK with right to work, including for remote/online work.
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and safe learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on progress.
